Terms & Conditions
Registration
- The registration fee entitles participants to attend all plenary and abstract sessions of the Conference.
- For administrative and preparatory reasons, online registration for in-person attendance is possible until 16th November 2022 (GMT+ 00:00). From this date onwards, we advise you to register and pay the fees on-site.
- Applicable onsite registration fees commencing on 11th November 2022 at 08:00 GMT.
- A 3% transaction charge will be applicable for all transactions made with VISA/MasterCard and Mobile Money payment (for local participants). Registrations are confirmed only upon payment receipt.
- Registration fees apply as per the date of payment.
- Participants will need to show a Receipt confirming Proof of payment on the conference date to pick up conference tags. All participants will need a conference tag for entry into the conference ground.
- Should your payment not be received 10 days after pre-registration, the Event Organizer reserves the right to cancel your pre-registration. You can make your registration onsite at the applicable rate.

PAYMENTS
- All online registration fees must be paid in advance until 11th November 2022 at 08:00 GMT.
- No receipt will be sent until the full payment amount has been received.
- You may process the payments using VISA / MasterCard or Mobile Money (for local participants).
- Participants will cover all transaction costs on all payments processed via Bank Transfer.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
- Registration cancellation must be sent via e-mail at afcem2022@gmail.com. The AfCEM 2022 secretariat must receive a notification of cancellation no later than 31st October 2022, 23:59 hrs GMT. This will entitle the participant to a 50% refund less bank charges.
- 100% cancellation charge applies after 31st October 2022, 23:59 hrs GMT.
- If you cannot attend but did register, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. Name changes are possible until 7th November 2022, 23:59 hrs GMT. Should you insist on having the changes carried out after this date, there will be a charge of USD 20.00.
- If it is necessary for whatever reason to postpone or cancel the Conference, the organizer will not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by the Participant.
- In the event of cancellation, the participant will be refunded any monies paid after deducting the bank charges.
- If the Conference is postponed due force majeure to a later date, the participant registration will remain valid, and he/she will be allowed to attend the event. However, an administrative fee of USD 100.00 plus bank charges will be applied should a participant fail to attend the Conference and request for refund.

STEP 4: Receipt will be sent to your email to confirm payment and full registration
STEP 5: You will receive additional emails based on the selected workshops, events and interests.
